It took me over 2 years to find a way down to the base of Barron Falls. I had seen an archival photo online (circa 1917) and hunted everywhere for a safe way to get down to take photos. One day as I was leaning over the railway platform railing, I saw a monitor lizard suddenly scurry off into some bushes. The start of a track was visible. The rest is history. Now I visit here many times a year to shoot, swim, relax and explore...
