Captured at the ancient and beautiful Moeraki Boulders in South Island New Zealand in August 2026.
 
Just after first light I deliberately over exposed to extend the amount of light hitting the camera, allowing the ocean tide to flow around this solitary orb of ancient rock. Formed millions ago these rocks are just incredible to see first hand. They feel as if they have been put together by an intelligence. Individual pieces form each orb of rock that weighs many tones each.

Printed on 260gsm Ilford Satin Photo Paper using Canon's 12 Colour LUCIA PRO pigment ink system. Rated to last between 100 - 200 yrs under display conditions.
