This small yacht broke loose from its moorings in Trinity inlet in Cairns and made a small journey up the coast to Yorkies Knob just a few km away. While the salvage bodies and council argued about who should remove it the little boat became a playground for locals and children alike. Here I captured it late at night with the Milky Way while fighting against light pollution from Cairns city. Single Exposure.
