Fitzroy Island is the home of Nudey Beach, a stunning tiny coral beach just a short walk from the main Island Resort on Fitzroy. If you time it right you can have the whole beach to yourself, as did this sailor late in the afternoon.
 
Occasionally I use a drone to take shots as in the case here so as to provide a different perspective.
 
In a minimalist way this tropical scene contrasts vivid ocean colours against the bright almost white coral of the beach and I had hoped to capture a sense of oneness with nature with the composition here, instilling a sense of glorious solitude and inner peace felt by the lone sailors who had made their way here and dropped anchor.
